| Additional Information: | #590. Concrete block. Front porch. 2009--Since last surveyed in 1984, the only apparent exterior change to the house is the construction of a ew wooden porch railing. Resurveyed April 2016: new pair of second-story windows (4-over-1). 2016- "This 2 ½ story American Foursquare house was constructed c.1910. It is rectangular in plan with clapboard walls and an asphalt-shingled hipped roof. The front elevation faces north and is asymmetrical in plan due to uneven fenestration across the first story. A 1-story, flat-roofed porch spans the façade; the porch has columnar supports that rest on cast stone piers. Inside the porch are a single front door, a three-sided bay window and a pair of 1-over-1 windows. The second story contains a pair of 4-over-1 windows and a pair of 1-overr-1 windows. A front-gabled dormer with a bank of three single-pane windows projects from the front roof slope; the dormer is clad in aluminum siding." -"Menasha, Broad St: Tayco St to Racine St", WisDOT#4992-00-55/58, Prepared by Gail Klein, (2016). |
