NOTES
Additional Information:This is a two-story Italianate style house constructed of red brick. The hip roof features a cupola, also with hip roof and large windows. The roof has overhanging eaves with brackets attached to a wood frieze. The windows are single-light sashes decorated with stone lintels. A later-added "picture" style window sits in the first story of the main elevation. The main entrance features a wood door decorated with sidelights and a transom. It is covered with a porch with a flat roof, wide eaves with brackets, thin Italianate style posts, and a later added spool and spindle balustrade. A modern one-story addition projects from the northeast corner of the house. It is covered with vertical wood siding and has a hip roof. The building sits on a large lot with many mature trees and shrubs and has a long set-back from the street. It is also a good example of local Civil War era brick construction, being one of the finest brick houses in the city.
