2017: House painted light grey; few additional alterations from 1982 survey photo aside from first-floor picture window now includes two sash and infill with siding.
Bibliographic References:House listed in year-end building synopsis in 1887, Ashland Daily Press, 3 December 1887, page 1; cited under header of Dwellings-West: "Wm Mackmiller, brick, 7th Ave and 3rd Street, $2,500. Macmillers are confirmed at this address per the US census in 1910. Mackmiller died on 18 March 1911; Laura and the children remained the house through at least 1920 (per the census).
