Additional Information: | #590. Shutters, pent returns, gabled entry. 2009--Although the exterior sheathing material was cited as clapboard as of survey in 1984, the photo appears to show the house covered in asbestos, as it is currently. therefore, there are no apparent exterior changes to the structure since last surveyed. 2021: This 2-story Dutch Colonial Revival duplex was constructed in 1937. It is rectangular in plan with asbestos siding and an asphalt-shingled, front-facing gambrel roof with slight eave returns. The front elevation faces east and is symmetrical in plan with a projecting, 1-story entry bay at the center of the façade. The bay is capped by a steeply-pitched gable roof and contains two separate entry doors that are accessed by a single, wide concrete stoop. Pairs of 1-over-1 windows are located on each side of the entry bay at the first and second stories. A tall, narrow, multi-pane window is centered in the façade at the attic level. Nearly full-width shed-roofed dormers are located along both side elevations. |
