NOTES
Additional Information:FCS 6/10 - JOHN STRANGE PAPER COMPANY, MENASHA - is an unoccupied, utilitarian industrial building that rests on partly submerged cement piers. A one-story rectangle, it has red brick walls and metal-framed windows filling the bays of an exposed cement frame. There are square windows in the two left bays of the upstream endwall, a flush metal door in the next bay, and a small, square window set high in the right, landward bay. The riverside facade of the plant stretches thirteen bays, with compartments defined by the structural skeleton. Metal-framed floor-to-ceiling windows fill the three left, downstream bays. The next bay is covered by a metal panel. Seven of the nine, upstream bays have centered, square windows. The bay just right of center and the third bay from the right, upstream edge have glass doors framed by cement jambs and lintels. The building's flat roof is masked by a tile-trimmed parapetted cornice. (FCS 9/91 is a better, duplicate view)
