NOTES
Additional Information:THIS TWO-STORY ITALIANATE HOUSE WAS BUILT IN 1874. (SEE BIB. REF. A, D). IT FEATURES A RECTANGULAR SHAPED PLAN CONFIGURATION, A STONE FOUNDATION, A CLAPBOARD EXTERIOR, A WOOD TRIM AND AN ASPHALT SHINGLED, TRUNCATED HIP ROOF. PAIRED BRACKETS CONTINUE ALL AROUND THE HOUSE AT THE EAVE LINE. A TWO-STORY, THREE SIDED BAY APPEARS AT THE SIDE ELEVATION. DENTIL TRIM AND PAIRED BRACKETS EMBELLISH THE CORNICE ON BOTH THE FIRST AND SECOND STORIES OF THIS BAY. THE FRONT PORCH, WITH ITS DENTIL TRIMMED AND BRACKETED CORNICE, PROJECTS FORWARD ON THE FACADE. SLENDER BRACKETED POSTS AND LATTICE DESIGNED RAILINGS FURTHER DISTINGUISH THIS PORCH. LOCATED AT THE EAST END, AND OBSCURED BY FOLIAGE IS A MANSARD ROOF WITH A GABLED DORMER WINDOW. THIS RESIDENCE IS IN GOOD CONDITION.

MARTIN AND ELIZABETH NECOLLINS WERE INDIVIDUALS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS HOUSE FROM 1874 TO 1890. (SEE BIB. REF. A, D). Martin came to Wisconsin in 1848 and farmed successfully until 1870 when he moved to town. [I] IN 1871, JOHN B. TERRY OWNED THE PROPERTY UPON WHICH THIS DWELLING WOULD LATER BE BUILT.
