Additional Information: | A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. Damaged by fire 11/13/1997. The present business incorporates two buildings. The south structure is a modernistic facade of porcelain enamal panels with boarded up window cutouts and a circular canopy over the door at the corner. It appears that the panels were applied to a two story storefront. The porcelain enamel panels extend across the first floor of the north structure, which is a Classical Revival, two-story brick commercial block. The upper story and cornice remain in original condition. |
