Additional Information: | Built in c. 1855 (See Bib. Ref. A), this one and a half-story Greek Revival house features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a stone foundation, an Aluminum sided exterior, a wood trim, and an asphalt shingled gable roof. Moniter windows are found in the attic story. Cornice returns appear at the side elevations. The transomed and sidelighted front entrance is sheltered by a portico; its roof is supported by two squared columns. An addition was attached at the rear of the structure at an unspecified date. The residence is in good condition. Individuals associated with this dwelling and the dates of their associations include the following: Samuel White, from 1858 to 1890; Mrs. A. White, from 1895 to 1905; and Lena Shepard, from 1910 to 1925. (See Bib. Ref. A). |
