Additional Information: | Built in C. 1912 (See Bib. Ref. A), this two-story Queen Anne styled house features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a Rusticated Concrete Block foundation, a Clapboard exterior, a wood trim and a gable roof. A pent roof distinguishes the attic story of the street-facing open gable end, while pent roofed eave returns embellish the open gable end at the side elevation. The multi-sided turret has a multi-sided, conical shaped roof whose eaves flair slightly. Decorative, fishscale shingles appear in both the second and third stories. Mutins adorn a second story window. The front porch appears to be an addition, built at an unspecifed date. The residece is in good condition. Richard James was an individual associated with this dwelling from 1915 to 1925. (See Bib. Ref. A). |
