It sits just in the city limits of Galesville within the visual impact of the intersection improvements at this part of the project. It sits on a large lot that has many large, mature trees and large expanse of lawn. The building has a steeply pitched intersecting gable roof covered with asphalt shingles. The building is covered with aluminum siding and upper windows are filled with paired single-light sashes. The lower story of the main elevation has a projecting square pay with a shed roof and a large "picture" style opening. To its north is a replacement opening consisting of a picture style window flanked by single light sashes. To the south of the bay is a modern enclosed porch covered with wood clapboards and filled with single light sashes. Also on the property is a fine one and one half story carriage house with vertical board siding and many original openings. |
