| Additional Information: | First schoolhouse in the district. Built in 1847 at the southeast corner of the Amos Dike Johns farm, five rods west and eight rods north (now the junction of Highways 67 and F). The frame building was 16 by 18 feet and valued at $100. In 1850, the schoolhouse was moved a half mile east on Highway 67 where it "was used many years before Williams Bay or Fontana had a school building."
