Additional Information:This stone bridge, complete with a steel culvert, was designed by engineers and built by the WPA in the 1930s. (See Bib. Ref. H). The historically named Brewery Creek Bridge structure is in good condition. THIS SMALL BRIDGE IS COMPRISED OF A STEEL CULVERT ENCASED IN STONE WALLS. THE DESIGNER TYPE IS CLASSIFIED AS ENGINEER. IT WAS ALTERED AND/OR HAD ADDITIONS MADE TO IT IN THE C. 1930'S. PRESENTLY, THE BRIDGE IS IN GOOD CONDITION.

ACCORDING TO THE "INVENTORY FORM FOR NOMINATED PORPERTIES," LOCATED IN THE INTENSIVE SURVEY REPORT, THIS STRUCTURE CONTRIBUTES TO THE LOCALLY DESIGNATED MINERAL POINT LANDMARK DISTRICT.
