Additional Information:Built in c. 1845 (See Bib. Ref. A, F), this one-story, Greek Revival styled house features a rectangular shaped plan configuration, a stone foundation, a clapboard exterior, a wood trim, and an asphalt shingled gable roof. Fluted pilasters and a transom window embellish the front entrance. The south porch was converted to an interior room, a change that existed since 1982. Another addition was built at an unspecifed date. This residence is in good condition.

Individuals assoicated with this dwelling and the dates of their assoications include the following: Thomas Davey, from 1848 to 1858; Richard Penrose, from 1866 to 1885; William Ralph, from 1890 to 1915; and John Ralph in 1925. (See Bib. Ref. A).

This building was designated locally, becoming part of the Mineral Point Landmark District in 1972.
