It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. Built in c. 1900 (See Bib. Ref. F), this two-story Queen Anne styled house features an irregular shaped plan configuration, an aluminum/vinyl sided exterior, and a combination hip and gable roof. Paired brackets appear beneath the eaves of the main roof. A two story, three-sided bay is capped in the attic story by a gable roof; pent roofed eave returns appear in its open gable end. The open designed wrap-around front porch has its hipped roof supported by tuscan columns. Sidelights, fanlights and fluted pilasters distinguish the front entrance. The building was designated locally, becoming part of the Mineral Point Landmark District in 1972. |
