Additional Information: | Built in c. 1880 (See Bib. Ref. A, F), this two-story Queen Anne styled house features a cross shaped plan configuration, a foundation of unknown material, a clapboard exterior, a wood trim, and an asphalt shingled gable roof. Ornately carved lintels distinguish the paired second-story windows at the facade and at the side elevation. An East facing bay window is designed with brackets under the eaves. A sun room addition has pilasters visually supporting a defined cornice. The portico sheltering the front entrance has its flat roof supported by Tuscan columns. This residence is in good condition. Individuals associated with this dwelling and the dates of their associations include the following: John Allen, from 1885 to 1895; and W. J. Jeuck, from 1900 to 1925. (See Bib. Ref. A). |
