June 2021: This 1 ½ story Italianate gabled ell house was constructed c.1868. The building features a stone foundation, cream brick walls, and an asphalt-shingled gable roof with a wide, unornamented cornice board. A cream brick chimney projects from the roof peak of the side-gabled mass. Primary character-defining features include the building’s asymmetrical composition; round-arched windows and doorway with inverted U-shaped brick hoods; multi-pane sash windows with narrow stone sills; and moderately overhanging eaves. The building consists of the primary 1 ½ story gabled-ell building mass and a c.1901 1-story addition to the northwest corner.
