Additional Information:Originally part of the Town of Jefferson, the Town of Oakland was established in 1848. A town hall was constructed in the settlement of Oakland Center in 1882 as a part of the rebuilding process in the wake of a devastating tornado.


Previously surveyed in 1975. SEGMENTAL ARCHED WINDOWS. C. 1920s concrete-block garage is connected to the rear of the hall via a concrete-block breezeway.
