Additional Information: | THE F IN PHOTO CODES STANDS FOR FCS NEGATIVES. 2021 - This Front Gabled house was constructed circa 1890. The two-story house is asymmetrical in plan, with a rough-cut stone foundation and salt-box roof. A large cross gable extends on the eastern side of the second story, while the western side features a smaller gabled wall dormer. The house features a gable-roofed enclosed porch at the northeastern corner, flanked by a large bay window with multi-paned sashes on each side. Windows on the remainder of the house appear to be one-over-one double hung replacements, and the opening in the second story of the front-facing gable has been altered to contain a single sash instead of two narrow double hung windows. Original clapboard siding has been removed or covered with vinyl. |
