NOTES
Additional Information:Three segmental arch openings, a metal cornice, and cast iron columns and lintel characterize the former Belmont State Bank building.

The Belmont State Bank (the building is pictured in Belmont Area History), erected this brick business block in 1900. In 1925 the structure was sold to the Farmer's State Bank (in 1916 the Farmer's State Bank was located at 103 Commerce Street, 9/29), which was organized in 1909 and in operation until April 1930 when it closed due to the Depression.

Note: a photo of the building is also included in the 1936 historical edition of the Belmont Success.
