Additional Information:ARCHITECTURAL STATEMENT:
THIS INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX IS CURRENTLY VACANT. THE BUILDINGS ARE FRAME WITH FLUSH SIDING. THE MOST PROMINENT STURCTURE IS A FOUR STORY STRUCTURE WITH LOW GABLE ROOF AND ROWS OF RECTANGULAR WINDOWS (PRIMARILY COLSED).

HISTORICAL STATEMENT:
THE LOCATION MATCHES THAT DESCRIBED FOR THE PLANT AND THE BUILDINGS MATCH TWO ON THE ENGRAVING. AT ITS PEAK, SCHMIDT WAS ONE OF THE LARGER LUGGAGE FIRMS IN THE COUNTY. IT WAS FOUNDED IN OSHKOSH IN 1861. (A)
