THE MOST PROMINENT STURCTURE IS A FOUR STORY STRUCTURE WITH LOW GABLE ROOF AND ROWS OF RECTANGULAR WINDOWS (PRIMARILY COLSED). HISTORICAL STATEMENT: THE LOCATION MATCHES THAT DESCRIBED FOR THE PLANT AND THE BUILDINGS MATCH TWO ON THE ENGRAVING. AT ITS PEAK, SCHMIDT WAS ONE OF THE LARGER LUGGAGE FIRMS IN THE COUNTY.
