Additional Information: | A BRICK TWO-STORY HOUSE WITH A SLOPING ROOF THAT IS INTERSECTED BY A GABLE PROJECTING FROM THE FRONT FACADE OF THE HOUSE. THE FRONT GABLE HAS A BAY OF WINDOWS PROJECTING FROM THE GABLE AREA. A PEDIMENTED GABLE ENTRY PORCH, A PROJECTING BAY TO THE NORTH AND SMALL FRAME EXTENSIONS TO THE SOUTH AND AT THE REAR FURTHER CHARACTERIZE THIS SUBSTANTIAL HOUSE. THIS HOUSE HAS ARCHITECTURAL IMPORTANCE TO THE COMMUNITY OF BENTON BECAUSE IT IS THE ONLY REPRESENTATIVE OF SUBSTANTIAL BRICK ARCHITECTURE BUILT IN THE 1920'S AND 1930'S THAT EXIST IN BENTON. |
