Additional Information: | A frame two story house that has a hip roof intersected by gables that project over there sided bays. Bracketed pent roofs create the appearances of pediments in the gables that are decorated with shingles in the same pattern as the shingles covering the second story. A wrap around porch supported by short Tuscan columns on masonry and leaded glass accents this vernacular Victorian house. This house is important to the community because it is the best example of a vernacular Queen Anne still in its original state in the town of Benton. |
