Additional Information: | The Alexander House was built in the late 1840s in a simple Greek Revival Interpretation. The one and a half story, white, clapboard house remains intact and in excellent condition. Stylistic details include a heavy cornice, half-sized windows in the attic story, and a pediment above the front door. Few examples of the Greek Revival style remain in the Geneva Lake survey area. The Alexander House is significantly intact and representative. |
