Additional Information:2022: The one-story John Schieffer House was constructed in 1849. It is of frame construction and is clad in board and batten siding. It has a side-gable roof that is covered with asphalt shingles. A tall, rectangular, interior brick chimney is at the center of the ridgeline. Windows are multi-pane. Wood steps that lead up to a hand cut exterior door are at the south elevation.
