Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. The original outhouse remains on the property. The school closed in 1958 and was sold to Gilbert Weihing, who cut a door in one side of the building and used it to store corn. The Friends of Center Valley Grade School, Inc. purchased the school in 2000 and began to restore it. A rededication ceremony was held in August of 2007.

Windows on the east elevation were replaced with similar style windows. Building resided with cedar.
