This American Foursquare styled house features a square shaped plan configuration, a rock faced concrete block foundation, a clapboard and asbestos sided exterior, a wood trim and an asphalt shingled hip roof. Intersecting with the roof in the attic story are hipped dormers, each containing double windows. An open designed front porch has its hip roof supported by squared columns. At the side elevation is a box bay window with a hip roof and brackets. The residence is in good condition. A related building is a carriage house (WK 82/15). Individuals associated with this dwelling include the following: Clyde Brown in 1911 and Joseph and Isabelle McNamara from 1919 to 1927. [A]. Another map code is 1992 City Map 92/180. |
