Additional Information:This historical museum, owned and operated by the New Glarus Historical Society, contains eleven structures reflecting the history of New Glarus' Swiss community. One of the buildings is a small log cabin dating from c. 1855 which was found when the house at the Harold Hoesly farm was being razed. Village consists of reconstructed pioneer buildings including a Swiss settler's cabin, a church, a cemetery, etc.

THIS BUILDING WAS ADDED TO THE SWISS HISTORICAL MUSEUM IN 1975.
