Additional Information: | DESCRIPTION This two-story house has a low-pitched gable roof, aluminum siding, and several additions to the main block. Windows are either single pane or two-over-two double-hung sashes. Some modren casement windows are in one of the additions. Also on the property is a smokehouse constructed of field stone rubble. The corners have limestone quoins, and the building has a low pictched roof, and a wooden entrance. The gable-roofed barn has board siding, large sliding doors, and limestone foundation, and arched openings. The barn has a central drive-though. There is a small gambrel roofed barn with board siding and a limestone foundation with numerous openings also on the property. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND This property was owned by Diedrich Rintelmann between 1867 and 1873 and by Albert Fischer between 1915 and 1931. |
