Additional Information: | DESCRIPTION This two-story cross gable house has a steeply pitched intersecting gable roof, clapboard siding, and wood shingle trim. Windows are single pane double-hung sashes and there are some large single pane windows on the first floor. Porches over the opening have wooden post and spool and spindle balustrades. Also on the property is a large red shed, now used as a garage and gabled roof barn with board siding and a stone foundation. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND This house and agricultural outbuildings were owned by Gastav Sundermann between 1897 and 1916 and by Herman Suderman between 1918 and 1931. |
