Additional Information: | DESCRIPTION This large cross gabled house has a steeply-pitched intersecting roof covered with wood shingles and decorative cross pieces. The house is clad with vinyl siding. Windows are multiple pane double-hung sashed, and some of the windows are modren replacements. The entry posts and a spool and spindal balustrade. The ell porch has been closed. ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SIGNIFICANCE While this house has some architectural intrest as an example of Queen Anne style, it is not significant for the National Register of Historic Places. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND This house was owned by John Kurtz in 1892 and William Kurtz in 1915. |
