| Additional Information: | DESCRIPTION This two-story painted brick gable ell house has a steeply-pitched intersecting gable roof that is covered with wood shingles. In addition to the main ell, an additional side and rear ell project from the house. Windows are single-light double-hung sashes that are decorated with semental arches and shutters. An occulus window sits at the gable peak. The front ell porch has been enclosed and topped with decorative wroght-iron cresting. Also on the property is a fieldstone foundation with numerous windows and door openings. It was probaply a small barn. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND This property was owned by Thomas Dooley between 1857 and 1870 and by James Kenney between 1870 and 1900. |
