Additional Information: | DESCRIPTION This one and one-half story gable ell has a very low pitched gable roof and two ells that project from the side of the main block. Windows are multiple-pane double-hung sashes on the main block. They are topped with heavy round brick arches. Ther are also so modren windows on the house. The ell porch is a simple over hang with wooden post. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND This property was owned by Caleb Gurnee between 1862 and 1867 and by Michael Burke between 1870 and 1915. [a, b] |
