| Additional Information: | This Tudor Revival commercial building features a picturesque skyline created by gabled dormers and a shingled roof. The elevation is brick with half-timbering, and bargeboard decorates the dormers. A leaded glass transon extends across the elevation. The building is a distinctive visual element for the intact block face. Built about 1909 when the Majestic Theater opened as one of Wausau's first motion picture theaters. The facade was remodeled in 1932-33. From 1924 until 1982 the building was a gift shop. |
