Two and one-half story cream brick Italianate house was built ca. 1852 by the Foote twins, Argalus and Augustus, each of whom lived in 15 of the house's 30 rooms. The land was acquired through a land patent to their mother Rebecca in 2/1852. The Footes are one of Winnebago County's best known pioneer families. |
