NOTES
Additional Information:This former elementary school is now an apartment building. Features of its Italianate design include a hip roof, a roof-top cupola which probably housed a bell, and both rectangular and segmentally arched windows with hooded windows crowns in brick. The main entrance to the brick structure has been modernized with board siding and metal-frame windows. This is the only school building in Eureka, whose students are now bussed to other schools some distance from the community. Its construction around the turn of the century would have represented a major enhancement of local educational facilities. Further research is required.
