Additional Information: | A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. This two story cube was designed by S. A. Snyder and built in 1928 by Charles Reid. [G]. It features a square shaped plan configuration, a stone veneer foundation and exterior, a stone trim and a tiled hip roof. The windows appear in pairs, ribbons and singularly, with many containing multiple panes. The facade windows as well as some of those at the side elevation, have projecting stone sills, and those on the first story display stone lintels as well. The front entrance is round arched and sheltered by a hipped and bracketed hood. The residence is in good condition. Michael and Jane McCoy were individuals associated with this dwelling from 1931 to 1938. [A]. Other map codes include McCall Street Historic District Map 82/5 and 1992 City Map 92/179. |
