Additional Information: | This Queen Anne design combines a squat central tower with an adjoining cylindrical tower. The first floor porch wraps around both features. Details are classically derived. This is the most sophisticated example of this style which also appears at 619 Franklin (WN 29/22) and 1133 Algoma (OS 17/14). Dr. Provost was not at this address in 1900. The property appears to have been vacant at that time. This house is, however, on the 1903 Sanborn Perris Map. Dr. Provost is first listed in the 1903 City Directory. |
