Additional Information:This large Ialianate building is asymmetrical in plan. The design is dominated by angular elements - bay windows, pediments. Frieze panels are outlined and separated by brackets. This is a significant example of the Italianate style, surviving as one of the more elaborate designs in Oshkosh.

Richard Barker, a local carpenter, purchased the property in 1884 and is listed at this address in that year.
