Additional Information: | This frame house is typical of the scale and ornamentation of the colonial revival designs in Oshkosh. 1994- "The most intriguing feature about this two story, hip roof, Queen Anne house is the prominent front gable dormer with fish-scale shingles and large, round-arched window. Three eave brackets are under one side of the dormer. As well, the house has narrow, clapboard sheathing and a northwest corner, wrap-around, gabled porch with fish-scale shingles in the gable. The porch roof is supported by two clusters of two Tuscan columns." - "Jackson St (Murdock to Church), Oshkosh", WisDOT ID #6432-07-00, Prepared by Heritage Research, Ltd (1994). |
