| Additional Information: | DESCRIPTION This house is a two and one-half story Queen Anne house with a steeply-pitched gable roof. A prominent cornice supported by decroative rafter ends makes a pediment at gables end. The house has aluminum siding and an enclosed front porch. Windows are mostly single-light double-hung sashes. Also on the property is a fine gambrel-roofed carriage house. The carriage house has wood shingles in the gable ends, a steeply-pitched gable dormer project from the side, two-over-two double hung sash windows, and clapboard siding. ARCHITECTURE/ENGINEERING SIGNIFICANCE The carriage house is in very good condition and is of interest because it is detailed much like the gambrel roofed barns of Mequon. |
