Additional Information: | An example of the Colonial Revival, which became a popular design in Oshkosh in the first decade of the twentieth century. Typically, this design consists of two stories covered with clapboards and a hip roof with dormers lighting the attic. The best examples include a massive porch with classical details and additional ornamentation of windows and cornice. In this instance the porch has been enclosed which detracts from the design. See Ch. II, Section 13. Kirk Spoor, a principal at Dale School, was the first listed resident. |
