Additional Information: | Originally a fine Romanesque Revival building, but altered with the introduction of a Chicago style brick facade. The side facade is of cut stone with a terra cotta entablature. First floor window arches have been bricked in. Plaque naming Winnebago County WWI dead on side erected by "The old commercial National Bank of Oshkosh, Wis. 1921." The Commercial Bank of Oshkosh was formed in 1856 by Nelson Fletcher and Henry Strong. It was reorganized by Thomas Reeves and G.T. Roe as the Commercial National Bank in 1865.
