NOTES
Additional Information:2023: This is a one-part commercial block, that of a single street-level story, constructed circa 1920. The building is of masonry constructed with cast stone detail. The principal elevation is divided into three bays with a symmetrical composition consisting of a central entrance with sidelights flanked by large plate glass windows. Steel beam lintels separate the display windows and the entrance from the leaded glass transoms above. Paired brick pilasters delineate each bay and support a blank cast stone entablature and pedimented parapet that is capped with cast stone. The exterior of the building has been painted which obscures the differentiation between the brick and cast stone which contributes to the architectural detail. 1978: A one story brick structure typical of the 1920's-30's combination of art deco and modern elements. In Oshkosh, the Main Street car dealerships remain the best examples of this period.
