This small scale lighthouse is an elegant composition which dominates the point of land east of Lake Street. The shaft is constructed of concrete; with balustrade, cap filigree and finial of copper. One of Oshkosh architect George A. Rockwell's last designs. He died in 1909 before construction was completed. Commissioned by State Senator William Bray to guide boaters into the Fox River from the lake. |
