Additional Information: | F in photo code stands for FCS. This is a one and a half story vernacular front gable frame house with a gabled, one-story rear extension. One of seven identical structures on a curving street bordering a paper mill, it was presumbably built and originally owned as company housing. 543 is clad with aluminum clapboard siding and roofed with asphalt shingles. The centered front entry is shielded by a curved aluminum hood,. and flanked by vertical sash windows with alulminum storms. A single sash window is centered in the upper story gable. The house has a cement foundation and front stoop. A rebuilt brick chimney protrudes fomr a side roof slope. Adjacent to the house is a garage. |
