NOTES
Additional Information:Queen Anne style house with a low tower; double story bays; (similar house at 1716 Clark).

This house was built in 1886 by lumberman Andrew Scott (1836-1911) for his daughter, Bertha. Scott sold the house in 1895 to Andrew Magnus Nelson (1843-1927), who was in the real estate business. By 1940, it was owned by Joseph Mott (1886-1952), who taught at the State Normal School. Later owners included Fabyan Wysocki, Sr. (1909-1987), Dr. Raymond P. Kirsch, Jr. (1925-2005), and Marcy Kirsch. The veranda and tower cap were removed c. 1948.
