NOTES
Additional Information:Vernacular style with red brick exterior and corbeling in cornice.

This Twentieth Century Commercial block is two stories in height and constructed of red brick. It has a simple cast iron cornice accented with brick corbeling. The second story openings are single-light sashes, some grouped in pairs. The storefronts are largely intact and include large show windows and multiple-light transoms.

The Whittington Block contributes to the architectural significance of the Main Street Historic District for its good Twentieth Century Commercial style. It also contributes to the historical significance of the district because it was a long-time commercial block in Waupaca's downtown.
