Additional Information: | DESCRIPTION This two-over-two story front gable house has a steeply-pitched gable roof with projecting gables and covered with wood shingles. The house has clapboard siding and there are decorative wood shingles in the gables. Windows are single-pane double-hung sashes. A one story veranda covers the front and one side of the house. Also on the property is a gambrl-roofed barn that has board siding, large sliding doors, and some small window openings. ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SIGNIFICANCE The agricultural outbuildings have some interest as examples of typical farm buildings in Mequon, but they are not architecturally significant for the National Register of Historic Places for architecture. |
