Additional Information: | DESCRIPTION This house is a two-story frame building with gable ell form and numerious additions. It has a steeply-pitched intersecting roof. The windows are single-pane double-hung sashes topped with decorative cornice lintels. The agricultural outbuildings include some sheds in poor condition and a medium-sized gambrelroffed bank barn. The barn features the steeply-pitched gable projection commonly seen on barns in Mequon. ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SIGNIFICANCE The agricultural outbuildings have some interest as examples of typical farm buildings in Mequon, but they are not architecturally significant for the National Register of Historic Places for architecture. |
