This house is a large, rambling two and one-half story frame building with an irregular plan, clapboard siding, and a steeply pitched intersecting gable roof. An early twentieth century sunroom extends from one end of the building. The front facade features a very large projecting gable that is supported by large decorative brackets. The gable is decorated with dentils, wood shingles, and a very nice palladian window. A two story porch covers the front entrance. It has turned post and a spool and spindle balustrade on both stories. Windows are larger with transoms. Windows are decorated with cornice lintels. There is also a fine gambrel roofed barn with board siding and a tile-covered silo on the property.
